| This has always been the heart of Sydney retail. In the early nineties this stretch of Pitt Street was closed to traffic and a number of the very lavish Italianate facades were saved and restored to front the Skygardens Mall. Also fronting onto this mall are the Strand, Centrepoint and Imperial Arcades (amongst others), David Jones and Myers department stores. Not a bad place for a teenager to hang out! | |
