Founded in 1984, the practice is now a well
established and highly regarded architectural firm that provides
architectural, interiors and planning services both in Australia and
overseas.The practice operates on a project team basis in a collaborative
atmosphere lead by Alex as Design Director and Brian Bass as Managing
Director.The Directors and Associates bring a wide range of skills and
experience gained over many years working on residential, commercial and
public buildings as well as interior design projects and urban planning.PBA
has been successful in a number of design competitions and the practice has
received numerous major awards from the Royal Institute of Australian
Architects including several Wilkinson Awards, the Robin Boyd Award and the
Architecture Australia Prize.
The growth of the practice has seen its main focus on individual house
design expand to large scale ventures such as educational and commercial
projects, medium density housing and urban redevelopment. |
